One of the most interesting things about the Environmental Defense Fund is their eagerness to form partnerships with corporations to change their environmental footprints from the inside out. These partnerships spawned the concept for this project. Sometimes when you combine two diametrically opposed things they create something unexpected and wonderful.

CO2 Emissions
Showed FedEx that by introducing a fleet of hybrid vehicles they would reduce soot emissions by 90% and also increase fuel efficiency by 50%. FedEx is now working towards a nation wide fleet of hybrid delivery trucks.
Styrofoam
Helped McDonalds switch from styrofoam "clamshells" to paper-based wraps for its sandwich packaging, providing a 70-90% reduction in sandwich packaging volume, reducing landfill space consumed, energy used and pollutant releases over the lifecycle of the package.
Greenhouse Gases
Convinced Wal-Mart to publicly commit to cutting 20 million metric tons of greenhouse gases from its supply chain.
